Transport to our central Oxford hotel
For customers travelling by car and with access to Satellite Navigation our post code is OX1 1HR. We have parking available for £5 per night.
If you are visiting by train, the Royal Oxford Hotel is a 2-minute walk from Oxford Train Station.
From the north and south leave the M40 at Junction 9 and proceed along the A34 towards Oxford. Follow the A34 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the North Hinksey / Botley Junction (please ignore all Junctions before this one). At the roundabout on the Botley Junction take the first exit and proceed in the middle lane for 500 yards until you reach a T Junction (opposite McDonald’s). Turn left at this Junction and follow this road (Botley Road) for approximately 1.5 miles, at which point you will travel under a railway bridge as the road slopes down. At the traffic lights after the bridge, the hotel will come into view directly in front of you.
Our city centre hotel is less than 4 minutes from Oxford Train Station. Once you leave the station, turn left on Park End Street, you will then see the Royal Oxford Hotel directly in front of you.
All coaches stop at Gloucester Green station. Exit the main entrance and turn right onto George Street. At the bottom of George Street you will see a car park in front of you (Worcester Street Car Park). Turn left around the outside of the car park and turn right on to Park End Street. You will pass Duke’s Cut pub and the hotel is on the right hand side after 0.2 miles.
